How the Class Shop Works

Classes are purchased in the lobby Class Shop using Animal Coins earned from completed Shifts or Robux for premium options. Unlock is permanent account-wide. Select active Class before each run starts; change again between Shifts during inter-Shift menu.

Passives apply automatically — no activation button. Doctor heals grant Sanity; Surgeon adds speed; Paramedic spawns with Speed Cola; Intern boosts starting Sanity; Nurse expands inventory; Psychologist multiplies Sanity deltas; Security and Secret Agent equip combat tools at Shift start.

No respec cost exists. Buy Classes as you afford them. Priority: healing passive first, then Event mobility, then combat backup.

Class Shop sits in the lobby hub near Shop terminal — same map zone you visit between Shifts. New players sometimes confuse Class selector with treatment item Shop; they are separate menus with separate currencies for most items.

Healer Classes — Doctor and Surgeon

Doctor passive: plus one Sanity each time you successfully heal a patient with correct treatment flow. Stacks with Coffee and Psychologist multiplier. Best for players who live in Rooms 1–7 landing repeated heals during busy nights.

Surgeon passive: Sanity on heal plus short movement speed increase. Speed helps reach Ambulance bay, fire Events, and Room 8 before timers expire. Preferred high-shift runner Class in community tier lists.

Head Nurse Robux Class bundles premium passives comparable to top healers with quality-of-life bonuses — check live shop description for exact numbers as patches adjust values.

Healer Classes do not auto-heal teammates unless you apply Medkit or treatment items to them. Doctor and Surgeon passives trigger on your successful patient heals only.

Support Classes — Paramedic, Nurse, Intern

Paramedic begins each Shift holding Speed Cola — consume for sprint burst without Shop purchase. Ambulance specialists and left-wing runners pick Paramedic for Shift 4–9 bands where seconds matter.

Nurse adds one extra inventory slot for treatment items, Coffee stacks, or Fire Extinguisher hauls. Room 8 surgeons carrying multiple tools benefit most. Weaker when Sanity not sustain is the bottleneck.

Intern is free with plus ten starting Sanity — best zero-cost new player Class. Replace once Surgeon unlock affordable; Intern remains viable filler slot for fourth player in coin-grind lobbies.

Support Classes define role identity in pub matchmaking — announce Paramedic so squad knows you sprint Ambulance bay while desk holds Shutter.

Combat Classes — Security and Secret Agent

Security starts with Taser — ranged Skinwalker control with lower Sanity penalty than melee spam. Good for teams still learning check-in that occasionally admit anomalies. Taser ammo limited; restock rules follow Shop mechanics between Shifts.

Secret Agent starts with Gun — highest DPS vs Skinwalkers, minimal Sanity if ranged. Robux or premium unlock on many accounts. Waste ammo on wrong targets and you melee anyway — call targets clearly in co-op.

Neither Class prevents anomalies at Shutter — combat is cleanup, not strategy. Desk discipline remains primary defense.

Gun and Taser do not delete environmental enemies like Black Bunny the same way — read enemies hub for creature-specific counterplay before shooting everything.

Psychologist — High Risk Specialist

Psychologist doubles every Sanity increase and decrease. Coffee heals twice as much; jumpscares hurt twice as hard. Expert teams time heals and avoid scares for net positive. Beginners hit zero Sanity faster than default Class.

Speedrun strats document Psychologist plus Surgeon double-dip heals — niche. Pub matchmaking: avoid unless squad agreed.

Tier list C-rank reflects average pub outcome, not theoretical ceiling.

If squad runs Psychologist, assign lowest-jumpscare role to that player — desk with Camera Upgrade and early rejects reduces doubled scare damage.

Recommended Unlock Order

F2P path: Intern immediately free → grind Shifts 1–4 → unlock Surgeon → Doctor or Paramedic → Security if check-in mistakes persist → Secret Agent luxury → Nurse situational → Psychologist last for memes or strats.

Robux path: Head Nurse early if purchased → Surgeon still valuable for speed → Secret Agent for combat → skip Psychologist unless curated team.

All unlocks survive wipes. Coins spent on Classes beat consumables if long-term progression goal.

Doctor versus Surgeon: choose Surgeon if you run left wing and Events; choose Doctor if you anchor DNA rooms with steady heals and rarely sprint. Both outperform Nurse early.

Classes persist across Roblox sessions — unlock on phone, play on PC same account. Consumables do not persist across Shifts inside a run; Class passive does every Shift start.

Changing Class between Shifts does not refund items bought for previous Class playstyle — plan Shop buys after Class lock for next night.

Default no-passive Class exists for players who skip Intern selection — always pick Intern instead for free Sanity.

Passive Stacking and Interactions

Doctor Sanity on heal stacks with Coffee consumable and with Psychologist multiplier — order matters only in that Psychologist doubles the final delta. Surgeon speed after heal does not stack infinitely; it refreshes duration on each heal. Paramedic Speed Cola is separate item cooldown from Surgeon sprint — use both for Ambulance chain across bay to Room 7.

Nurse inventory slot applies at Shift start item layout — rearrange lobby before night timer. Security Taser and Secret Agent Gun ammo counts reset each Shift start; not persistent across nights inside one run. Head Nurse premium passives read from live shop — verify after patches because Robux Classes receive stealth tuning more often than F2P grinders notice.

Default Class hidden penalty: plus zero starting Sanity versus Intern plus ten. New players who skip Class selection screen effectively handicap first Shifts. Always click Intern before Shift 1 if no coin unlocks yet.

Combat Class Deep Dive
